Mirjana Bugarinović is an associate professor at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering (FTTE). She received her Ph.D. in Technological Sciences from the FTTE at University of Belgrade. Her research interest gravitates around transport market regulation and transport policy, especially railway reform instruments which challenge established market regulation functions. At last but not at least key performance indicators for railway system, modeling of track access charges, railway market analysis, efficiency of the railway market and its actors are also in its focus. She was regional railway expert in South-East Europe Transport Observatory (SEETO). Her professional expertise, research and teaching interests include organization and technology of railway traffic and transport as well. During her academic and research work, she was participating in more than 40 international and national studies in railway passenger or freight transport, railway market, railway performances and railway infrastructure efficiency. She has participated in several international projects, two of which are H2020 (INTEND, NOESIS), and currently she is one of the task team leader at ERAZMUS + project (STAFFERS). She has published more than 100 papers in various scientist journals, domestic and international conferences.
