Sladana Maric (Slađana Marić), PhD in Teaching Methodology.
Research Associate in Social Sciences - Pedagogy
Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia.

Sladana Maric is a professionally educated musician ("Isidor Bajić" Secondary Music School three state degrees: Piano Performance, Music Theory, Opera), with extensive professional experience in composing, arranging and conducting music. She graduated in Music Pedagogy at the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad (University of Novi Sad awards for excellency in studying and "The Best Student of the Generation" award), but also graduated in English Language Philology at the Faculty of Law and Business Studies “Dr Lazar Vrtakić” in Novi Sad. She completed the interdisciplinary MA at ACIMSI (UNS) in Management in Education and doctoral studies in Teaching Methodology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad, Serbia.

Dr Sladana Maric has extensive experience in teaching both Music subjects and the English language in professional music and ballet educational settings. Her main research interests are in fields of Social Sciences (Education - Pedagogy) and Humanities (Languages and Music Arts):
- Teaching Methodology (online pedagogy, digital didactics, interactive learning, learning experience & instructional design; Digital Education; Digital Literacy, Digital Media Education, Continuous Professional Development, Lifelong Learning - LLL);
- Innovations in Emerging Technologies for Online Education (IJIOE)
- Virtual Museums in Education
- Virtual Mobility in HE
- Language Education: the Educational Role of Languages (ERL), multi/plurilingual research and pedagogy, multilingualism, Second/Foreign Language Teaching and Learning (SLA/FLA), English Language Teaching (ELT), English in Professional Music Education (EPME);
- Intersections of music and languages in education, music education and music pedagogy, specialised translation of texts in music and opera/children's opera.

Maric has presented her research studies (in person and virtually) at major international summits in education (Sam Houston State University - SHSU, Huntsville Texas (USA) and conferences in: Cyprus (University of Cyprus in Nicosia), Czech Republic (Czech Section of INSEA, Palacký University Olomouc), Greece (Rhodes, Ioannina), Malta (ELT Council Conference, Valletta), Poland (University of Gdańsk, University of Wroclaw, The State Mazovian University, Płock); and Serbia (University of Novi Sad, University of Belgrade, University of Novi Sad, MTTK - Subotica, etc.).

Published articles in peer-reviewed journals and international publications.
