•Regulation of the expression of human genes that control pluripotency maintenance and commitment to neural differentiation-regulatory elements, transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms, and signaling pathways
•Assessment of the biocompatibility of newly synthesized carbon-based materials (carbon nanomaterials (CNM), CNM/polymer composites, microplastics and nanoplastics) for the evaluation of their safety and potential use in bioimaging, sensing, photodynamic therapy, and antimicrobial coating
•Investigation of bioactive potential of natural and synthetic compounds, food supplements and beverages for the assessment of their effects on human health and their potential therapeutic use.
