Vladimir Stojanovic received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering/Control Theory from University of Kragujevac, Serbia.

He is currently Associate Professor in Department of Automatic Control, Robotics and Fluid Technique, Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Kraljevo, University of Kragujevac.

He was awarded several times from Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for his academic achievements.

He has participated in several national and international research projects supported by Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and EU.

He is ranked in the Top 2% of the World's most influential Scientists, by Stanford University, USA for 2021 and 2022.

He is a member of Editorial Boards of leading international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence Review, Journal of the Franklin Institute, Neural Computing and Applications, Complex and Intelligent Systems, Control Engineering Practice, and other flagship journals.
