Biljana P. Stošić was born in Surdulica, Serbia, in 1974. She received the B.Sc. (1999), M.Sc. (2004) and Ph.D (2008) degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš, Serbia. In March 1999, she joined the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš, where she is presently a teaching assistant at the Department of Telecommunications.

Her current research interests: Methods for computer-aided modeling and analysis of planar microwave structures by wave digital approach; equivalent lumped element circuit synthesis of planar microwave structures; approximation theory for filter functions and digital processing, stochastics electromagnetic field propagation in multiport devices.
