He was born on June 30, 1961. in Novi Sad. He studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Novi Sad (majoring in philosophy), where he graduated on June 15, 1986. years. At the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) he completed his master's studies and obtained the title of Master of Philosophy on 15.12. in 1992. At the same university, he received his doctorate on November 28, 2000. in the field of political philosophy.

From 1987 to 1989, he was an associate at the University of Novi Sad. In the period 1990-93. was Research Coordinator for Latin American Studies of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, based on a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico. In the school year 1993-94. he was a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the National Autonomous University of the State of Mexico for the subjects: Philosophical Anthropology, Aesthetics II, Philosophy of the Middle Ages. In 1994, taught the History of Philosophy I course at the Faculty of Philosophy of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 1996, he was a professor at the National (State) School of Anthropology and History for the subject Marxism and Anthropology. In the school year 1997-98. In 2010, he taught the Philosophy of Politics subject at the Faculty of Philosophy of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. From 1999 to the present, he is a full-time research professor in the Department of Social Sciences and International Relations at the Institute of Technology in Ciudad México (Instituto technologico y de estudios superriores de Monterrey, Campus Estado de Mexico). He teaches the following courses: Introduction to Political Science, History of Political Ideas, International Seminar on Politics, Regional Studies of Latin America, International Seminar on Communication Studies, Geopolitics, Ethics, (in master's studies) Sustainable Development and Social Change (in master's studies) and Critical Theories of postmodernism (in doctoral studies).

In the period from 2002 to 2007, he was the coordinator of the publication of the HUMANIDADES TEC special book collection, together with Miguel Angel Porrua, a member of the House of Representatives of the Mexican Congress. From 2004 to 2006, he was the director (dean) of the Center for Research in Social Sciences and Humanities (CICSH) of the Institute of Technology and Higher Studies (Monterrey, Mexico campus). Since 2005, he has been a visiting professor at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (postgraduate studies in history) in the following subjects: American History IV, Politics and Culture, Formation of Business Companies in Latin America, Identities and representations, International politics, American history III.
