Milica Simonović was born on April 10, 1997, in Kruševac. She graduated as an excellent student from Primary School "Knez Lazar" in Veliki Kupci in 2012. That same year, she enrolled in Kruševac High School, majoring in sociolinguistics, and graduated in 2016 with honors. In 2016, she began her basic academic studies in the biology module at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, and completed them in 2021, earning the title of Graduate Biologist with an average of 8.98. In the same year, she enrolled in master's academic studies at the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade, with a focus on plant physiology and biotechnology, which she will complete in 2023 upon defending her master's thesis on the topic "Effect of the methanolic extract of the rhizome of Sorghum halepense L. on the antioxidant response of Chenopodium murale L. seedlings," graduating as a Master Biologist with an average of 9.5. Since her first year of studies, she has not won either the Republic or Municipal scholarship. In 2023, she will enroll in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, in the area of physiology and molecular biology of plants. The experimental portion of her doctoral dissertation will be conducted at the Institute for Pesticides and Environmental Protection at Zemun. The topic of her dissertation will explore the allelopathic potential of phenolic compounds isolated from Juglans regia L. leaves and their application in agriculture. Bioherbicidal potential.
