Project: This work falls in this latest field and is a part of a wider Project called “Smart Monitoring of Pesticides in Farming Areas” funded with the contribution of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs research program, considered by the Ministry as a “Project of Great International Importance.” The final aim of the Project will be to provide a network of low-cost sensors for determining in real time the presence of pesticides in an agricultural field [30,31], thus overcoming or integrating the present expensive and not smart procedure [32-34] and taking advantage of the prerogatives of the sensor network [35-52].
