2015Za određivanje nagibnog ugla postavljanja solarnog kolektora mogu se koristiti različiti kriterijumi , kao što su na primer , maksimalna prikupljena energija za period kada postoji najveća tražnja , ili maksimalno prikupljena energija tokom cele godine . Takođe , umesto fiksiranja kolektora na nagibnom uglu koji je jednak otpimalnom uglu na godišnjem nivou , može se nagibni ugao kolektora i nekoliko puta godišnje ručno podešavati prema optimalnim uglovima na mesečnom ili sezonskom nivou. Ovo tehničko rešenje omogućava izračunavanje optimalnog ugla postavljanja solarnih kolektora u okviru bilo kog vremenskog perioda , kao i izračunavanje količine energije Sunčevog zračenja po jedinici površine tako nagnutih kolektora .
